Budapest Bistro is tucked away in a strip mall on the Mukilteo Speedway between Lynnwood and the ferry to Whidbey Island North West (NW) Washington. All the food is prepared on-site by the owner who is from Hungary. This is a gem, and is worth the drive to experience excellent "home cooked" meals with Hungarian and German flavor. Gluten-free dining options are available. Fantastic selection of wines and beers as well. Food-wise, the menu is made up each morning and you choose an entree, a side, and soup or salad. The sausage is homemade at the restaurant!-- and full of flavor. Usually before placing an online order, customers call and check if the dishes are available as it may change on daily basis.
